You are getting 10 whole fruit , each with multiple seeds in them. ( see my store for more types of crab apples ) In Mandarin Chinese, it is called “滇池海棠” (Diānchí hǎitáng). Small tree to 10 m (32ft) by 6 m (19ft ) with narrow, upright habit. Branchlets dark purple and densely hairy when young, robust. Buds dark purple that bears single white or pink flowers with a light pink tint. It is in flower in May, and the seeds ripen from September to October. Valued especially for its red leaves . Fruit are 1/2 inch crab apples red with white dots. Height:15 to 32 feet Spread: 15 to 20 feet Zone: 4 to 8 Medicinal use : None known Edible parts : Fruit - raw or cooked.
