YOUNG AVENGERS #1 (DIRECTOR'S CUT EDITION), written by Allan Heinberg, with artwork by Jim Cheung and John Dell, published by Marvel Comics in 2005. This is a first printing, and reprints the material originally published in the regular edition of 'YOUNG AVENGERS' #1, with 25 pages of bonus material. The cover also features a reworked and recolored version of the cover art for that issue, with Cheung cover art. Making their first appearances in this issue are Iron Lad, Patriot, Kate Bishop, Asgardian/Wiccan, and Hulking. Captain America, Iron Man, and Jessica Jones also appear in the issue. This issue comes from the first 'Young Avengers' series that Marvel published. The bonus material for the issue includes previously unseen character designs and cover sketches by Jim Cheung, and the original unedited script for YOUNG AVENGERS #1. This copy would grade at around VF/VF+, with light general handling and shipping wear, a light indentation along the bottom edge of the back cover, a light bulge on the back cover of the book near the top staple, light scratches on the back cover, and other light marks. The pictures show the actual copy that the winner will receive. The issue will be bagged and boarded, and will be carefully packed for shipping.
