This is a very special variant, because it's the only Yadi card Topps has ever released which has also been certified as game-used by MLB, with the specific game noted (June 30, 2018). This is the only way to know for certain that the item was actually used on the field. And making this card even more important, it has a recognizable piece of the jersey - the top of Yadi's number "4"! This means you can look at photos from this game and see this exact item in play. Over the years, Topps has attracted some controversy by sometimes using non-game-used material in their cards. They would sometimes use "Team-Issued" or "Clubhouse" jerseys; but these are generally backup items that went unused. To avoid controversy, Topps mostly just stopped providing the item's original MLB serial number. And then on the back of every card, they instead added a disclaimer: "The relic contained in this card is not from any specific game, event, or season." Topps has produced thousands of supposedly game-worn cards, but you can generally never be sure. Fortunately for this particular set, Topps did provide the MLB serial number - VS862517. And when that number is entered in the official MLB authenticator, we see that MLB has certified that this is in fact the jersey Yadi wore on 06/30/2018.
