It's very puffy. It's mostly polished except for some natural rough areas on the surface and sides, which is normal for a genuine crystal from Mother Nature. It's a rare find to get one in this extra large size and not have big holes/crevices in it. Common Beliefs:• These crystals are also known by the names Dragonstone, Septeyre and Septarian stone. There are two schools of thought about the meaning of the name Septaria.• The first meaning is thought to originate from the Latin word 'saeptum" meaning partition due to the cracks or separations in the stones.• The second meaning pertains to the Latin word 'septum' meaning seven, as many stones seem to occur with seven sections. Within these stones you will find a mixture of minerals, commonly Calcite (the yellow parts), Aragonite (the brown lines) and possibly white (Baryte) or grey (Limestone or Chalcedony), depending on the specific minerals that make up that particular stone.• They are interesting stones, with no two pieces exactly the same.
