Description: US shipping only. Original WWII USAAF AN6510-1 parachute pack (stamped JAN 12 1943), harness (has a date stamped on it, 194?), log book and emergency use booklet (1945). Some of the cords have broke over the years, may be missing buckles and some harness straps appear to be cut. Please be sure to look at all 21 photos in the listing. Please do not assume that anything other than what is shown in the photos is included. The pack does NOT have a parachute in it (it just has a piece of foam in it). Most of the dates in the log book are from 1946-1949, but it does mention Thunderbird field with a 1944 date (Thunderbird field was a training location in Arizona during WWII). The padding in the backpiece has dried out & is "crunchy". This item came out of one of Warner Bros. prop houses, as I am guessing that it was acquired by the studio for use in movies/television after it was taken out of service with the military in the 1950's (RKO is wrote on the pack, so RKO pictures might have originally used it in some movies in the 1950's before Warner Bros ended up with it).
