Radial engines were commonly used during WW2. The Gabb Accro-Matic Radial Engine Cylinder Compression Tester worked like a tire pressure gauge. It would be screwed into a cylinder’s spark plug hole, then the pressure pushes a rod out. By measuring how far out the rod has come, you get your pressure reading. This set was made with 18-pieces to allow a mechanic to get a compression reading for all engine cylinders at one time. Each tester would be screwed into a cylinder spark plug hole, then the mechanic would start the engine and get a compression reading for all cylinders at the same time. I am selling this as a complete 18-Piece collection as that is how the set was intended to be sold, used, and collected. Pre-owned. These testers are in good condition for their age.
