Description: This piece of WW2 period war art could well prove to be the tip of the RAFs iconic spitfire fighter planes propeller or an even rarer MKI Hawker Hurricane ( That was fitted with the all Aluminium watts fixed pitch prop).Made from Aluminium with clear acrylic glass & bakalite base. The acrylic glass is more than likely to have been a piece of the pilots cockpit acrylic made canopy.If proved to be of the above further research would be required. This would be an amazing & quite rare piece of WW2 aviation history. In a superb stand alone sculptural form. There is crazing to the acrylic glass and there are age related marks to the stand.
