Made of wood and steel, this German K98 Bayonet is in EXCELLENT condition considering its age. Made in 1942 in occupied Czechoslovakia, it is produced by "dot" (Waffenwerke Brunn). There are some slight marks due to the age, but otherwise is in AMAZING used condition! The blade, though it does show very slight wear, remains unsharpened, with 99% original finish. Most of the original grease is also still present. The scabbard is original to this knife, but it does feature some marks and wear. The knife features dark wood grips, and is marked: dot 4348 d The scabbard is original to this knife, and is 100% matching. Condition matches that of the knife, with some minor marks and scratches due to the age. It is stamped: dot 43 There is a "63" waffenampt on the frog stud.
