Description: A vintage WW2 steel candle lantern, possibly made by Rippingilles of Birmingham, although no label it’s exactly the same as the other lantern I’m selling which is by Rippingilles. The lantern is complete with original glass, enamel reflector and candle holder. It measures 35cm high not including the handle and the base has a 19cm diameter. It has some areas of surface rust and some chips to the enamel reflector, also a hole in the top, otherwise it’s all in genuine vintage condition. This interesting wartime lantern would look great in any interior, ideal for WW2 re-enactors or tv/film prop. Please check out my other WW2 lantern I’m also selling.
