Description: This is a reproduction of the early pattern of the USGI compass pouch. These can be found often in original photos before Normandy. They were a slightly more difficult and expensive pattern to manufacture during the war so they transitioned into the Lift-the-Dot version. This pouch is seen used by both enlisted and officers. These pouches are made with custom manufactured canvas to match the original material used on these pouches and are assembled with an original cut zipper and original wire hanger. The the bead chain "zipper pull" is copied directly from the original design and is one of the more unique features of the pouch.COMPASS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE
