Description: Antique original WW1 NATIONAL RESERVE Great Britain carbon steel Jewelry stamping tool die hub hob mold for making badges or pins. circa 1911-1918. I do not know the hardness of this steel or if it has been hardened? original condition as found other than me having the die hub sandblasted to clean off the oxidation that was on it originally. left side dimples on top of crown are more worn and not as pronounced as the strip on the right hand side. measurements are approximate. 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" x 1 3/4" in height. emblem is 1 9/16" across bottom rifle butts x 1 1/2" from rifle strap to top outer edge of raised relief border oval. please view all pics and read full item condition.
