Description: Very nice early strike and hallmarked French World War One Combatants Cross. This medal was awarded to all French Soldiers who saw combat service in WW1. French issued a variant of this medal for each combat it was in including the Franco Prussian War, WW1, WW2, Indo China , Korea and for North Africa. The medal is in excellent original period condition about as nice as they come! These medals are simplistic in design but really are very well down and are very quality bronze medals! One of my personal favorite French WW1 Medals they are just so beautifully designed. This is an iconic medal and one that every WW1 and Medal Collector needs!
