Graveney, R.M.L.I.); Royal Fleet Reserve L.S. & G.C., G.V.R., 1st issue (Ch. 3873 (B.346) W. Graveney. Pte. R.F.R.) William Graveney was born on 16th May 1867 at Upton, Slough, Bucks. And was a Blacksmith by trade when he joined on 16th Sept. 1885. He was discharged 13th Dec. 1889 but joined the Royal Fleet Reserve. Recalled for war service he served briefly on Thames but was invalided out on 24 February 1915. NEF Condition, Victory Medal is missing.
