Description: Designed by Rossco Wright in the early 90’s (and made in the USA), the Soloette represents the pinnacle of silent classical guitars. With its full-size Mahogany neck and traditionally-shaped body, the Solette provides all of the same contact points as a full-size classical guitar. The under-saddle pickup is a unique stereo microphone-in-a-tube design, outputting base and treble frequencies to separate headphone speakers, providing the listener with a crisp and spacious sound stage. This particular Soloette is one of the newer models (made sometime in the 2000’s) with both a regular mono amp output jack (it sounds great when plugged in to a Fishman amp) and a stereo headphone output jack. Italso has a latch-covered battery compartment rather than the screw-on battery compartment seen on earlier models. I purchased this guitar in 2017, while finishing up my undergrad and living with several housemates who worked nights. However, since that time, it has seen very little playing time. The frets are in great shape, electronics work as they should, and aside from a few scuff marks on the frame, the finish is in excellent condition. This Soloette comes with original gigbag (also in excellent condition) and a new set of D’addario ProArte trebles (I changed the bass strings yesterday, as they were becoming somewhat tarnished). Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
