If some eggs are not as dark as the picture, they carry the recessive melatonic gene & will still pass on the genetics for dark eggs. However over the past 8 years, I have cultivated each flock. Only keeping the darkest eggs & the prettiest birds with the most feathered feet. If you dont understand the HUGE RISKS of shipping fragile single celled embryos though the automated machines of the modern postal sorting system.then PLEASE do some research before buying eggs from me or any other egg seller on eBay!!! We cannot guarantee hatch rates. We have a 97-99% hatch rate here at the farm but shipped hatching eggs usually have 50% hatch rate or less.
