Description: World War II "Bits of Careless Talk" (U.S. Government Printing Office, 1943). Propaganda Poster (20" X 28"). War. One of the best of the "Don't Talk" US Government propaganda posters for the war effort in the early 1940s. Many of them were painted by a fine artist and illustrator of the social realism school, Stevan Dohanos. He also painted many terrific covers for the Saturday Evening Post. This one is chillingly effective, as a hairy hand with a large swastika ring pieces together bits of "loose talk." An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as slight edge and fold wear. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Folded, Very Fine+.
