Description: Vintage Original World War II U.S. Army 96th Infantry Division ScrapbookMeasures approximately 10 1/4" x 12 1/2". 36 Pages.Included are photos, patches, a booklet, paper money, clippings, and more.There are 44 total photographs affixed to the pages.On one of the pages, there is a three star collar badge from a Japanese Superior Private, which appears to have been a battlefield "souvenir" from the battle on Okinawa. On another page, there is an envelope, and a note that indicates that the soldier had gotten a certificate of private ownership of a Japanese flag. The flag is not included in this lot. The envelope included in the scrapbook is the same that sent the flag home to the United States.There is an envelope that says that it has Japanese and Filipino money, but the envelope is empty. It appears some items may have been removed or fallen out of this scrapbook.5 of the pages are blank.Photos range in size from 1 1/8" x 2 7/8" to 5" x 7".This scrapbook is in vintage condition with discoloration, creasing, edge tearing, and other wear from age, storage and handling.Please see photos and ask any questions you may have.
