World Famous Creatures Magazine Collectors Edition No. 1 First Issue 1958

Description: World Famous Creatures Magazine Collectors Edition No. 1 published in 1958. Very collectable as so few published, possibly only 4 editions. Published by Brook Street Publications in London, same people as did Famous Monsters of Filmland in the UK. Guess they were just trying to sell another magazine to same market, wasn’t a competitor as there is an advert inside World Famous Creatures for that sister publication. Editor Mr. Leon Howard. Cover is uncredited but a pretty abstract painting of items featured inside. Features include Frankenstein and his Friends, Blood of the Vampire, Monster of the Month, plus a master class in monster make-up, and an horrific cut out Halloween mask on the back cover! Would frighten the neighbours to death if you knocked on their door wearing this!! Also this is different to the other magazines as it features a cartoon strip style story. Photos highlight the imperfections in this issue - just back cover has come away from original staples though cover is still completely attached. Bottom left of cover next to spine has tiny bit of fraying where it has been stored. Tiny dog ear fold mark on very top right corner of cover but not breaking paper at all. Colours of print all clear and stain free, item has been stored for many years in box in darkened room, away from damp. Considering age of item, this is actually in good condition and any fan or collector would welcome it to complete any collection. No Returns Accepted. Due to high value product, this will be posted via Royal Mail Signed For to avoid any mis-delivery. It will be well packaged to avoid any damage. International postage available also, but as no signature on delivery is available, the receipt of postage will be proof of posting as no claim can be made if buyer says item has not arrived.
