Prepare for one of the bitterest rivalries in comics to be renewed in bloody fashion as the end draws near. I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good reading condition, with a solid spine and very good inside pages (photo#12 example). It does have some signs of wear, including a bottom outer corner crease/bend, but most of its flaws affect its externals. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: ~7 tiny indents spread around its middle on the front cover. ~4 on the back cover, with 1 additional at its center that extends horizontally onto the cover as a ~1" crease and light ~3" indent/depression. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Some scuffing. Compression that caused a small indent around the corner on the front cover. **Photo#5:-Lower spine corner: Moderate scuffing, small peel where it meets front cover, light compression. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: 3 tiny scuffs near its center - 1 with an additional small/light depression around it on the adjacent cover, otherwise light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Light ~2" depression around corner, ~1/2" indent/scuff/bend at extreme corner that goes thru ~1/2 pages as a light bend. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Some light shelf-scuffing mostly around its middle.-Outer corner: Light ~1/2" crease nearby corner (photo#10 w/illumination). ~1" indent/scuff/bend at corner itself from back covers' crease. Smaller indent/scuff around extreme corner. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: ~3/4" indent/scuff near its middle, otherwise light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Light ~1/2" indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent, and thru ~1/3 as a light bend. **Photo#9 (w/illumination):-Back cover bottom edge: Light levels of shelf-scuffing around it, with ~4 small/light indents/depressions spread from its middle to the spine corner.-Outer corner: ~1.5" indent/bend around corner, goes thru ~8 pages as a depression. ~1" crease/scuff/bend around extreme corner, goes thru ~1/2 pages as a light indent, and thru all as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover possesses a light ~1" depression near its center. ~3/4" crease/depression towards the page edge's middle, and another towards the bottom edge's middle (photo#10 w/illumination). The one near the page edge shows as a small/light indent on ~1/2 pages. Back cover has two ~2" shelf-scuff streaks near its center, with a few patches of smaller/light shelf-scuffs around. ~3/4" vertical crease near the page edge, shows as a light indent on ~1/4 pages. ~2" wide row of light ~2" vertical depressions nearby (photo#11 w/illumination). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
