Description: Wülfeler Jägerbräu Vintage Pils Bier Lager Beer Glass These glasses are becoming vintage collectors items. As far as I can tell, the brewery in Hanover ceased trading in 1994, suggesting these glasses are already at least 30 years old. I'm helping a friend clear the estate of an out of control glass collector. Generally these were purchased, admired for a short while, then packed away in blue paper towelling. Very few were ever used. So my researched date makes sense. Country Of Origin: Germany Condition Notes: All items hand washed and dried as part of detailed inspection. Note. No booze was wasted in the name of photography Individual glasses from the collection:- .a 0.2l Gilt Rim Pilsner Glass with footDescription Details: The glass has slightly flattened inside, giving the optical effect of a barrel construction. The glass sits on a conical foot. The glass has etched 0.2l with line to the rear, and transfer print of "Wülfeler Jägerbräu" text and stag head logo to the front. It also has a 5mm gold band inside and out around the rim.Dimensions: Approx. 17cm tall; 6cm diameter at top. Capacity: 0.2l (note 1 pint =0.568l so this is a little over a third of a pint). .b 0.2l Pilsner GlassDescription Details: The glass has slightly flattened inside, giving the optical effect of a barrel construction. The glass has etched 0.2l with line to the rear, and transfer print of "Wülfeler Jägerbräu" text and stag head logo to the front.Dimensions: Approx. 13.5cm tall; 6cm diameter at top.
