The made in Bavaria plate measures approximately 9 3/4" in diameter. It weighs approximately 1.2 lbs. The dinner plate has gold trim along the rim & a gold verge against a white background. There is a gold garland with gold leaves & black flowers on the front along the rim. The dinner plate is in very good condition -no cracks, chips or crazing noted!There is wear on the gold trim & gold pattern and slight utensil scratches on the front. There is also minor glaze wear on the front of the plates. We double box all fragile items to help withstand the stress of transport. The double boxing adds to the shipping weight and postal expense but we believe the added precaution in packing is a worthwhile investment to ensure safe arrival of your item.
