Description: Winters of Content, More Discursions on Travel, Art, and Life, J.B. Lippincott Company (1932). This is English writer and political activist Sir Francis Osbert Sitwell's account of his experiences traveling in Italy in the early 1920's. Although sturdy, the cover of this 90+ year old book shows some signs of wear and age. Corners are rubbed and the title imprint on the spine is significantly faded. There is one .3 inch tear at the top of the spine (see photo). The flyleaf page contains the name of a previous owner written in ink. The hinges are creased but intact and the spine is secure. The interior pages with text are tanned and lightly foxed, but have no markings or other damage. The photo pages are bright and clear. Text is neat and sharp.
