Description: Winter Wonderland is a vintage early 20th century print produced by U.I. Co. NY. It looks very similar in style to the work of William Thompson, but I was unable to confirm that with my resources. The print is 5.5" x 7.5" in overall size and 4.75" x 6.75" in image size. It is in excellent condition except for a white dot on the blue border in the lower right corner. The imperfection could be why the print was surplussed and why Chuck had a stack of them! U.I. Co. N.Y. most likely produced the piece as a decorative or promotional calendar print. Companies in the early to mid-20th century often produced numbered prints like this for home decoration or as part of their advertising materials. The "No. 3816" in the lower left corner indicates it may have been part of a larger catalog or series of artworks. If purchasing more than one print, I would be happy to combine shipping.
