Description: I received this football as a gift new in about 1979, and as you can see from the photos played catch very lightly with it on grass, and tried my best to keep it from hitting anything hard like the street. It’s really in exceptional condition for a 45 year-old ball that mostly sat on my bookshelf. It truly looks much cleaner in your hands than in the photos, the scratches you see are very light, and both ends show very minimal damage to the leather. Hard to find one in this condition. A very unique and classic football. It was sent back to Wilson some time ago for a new bladder/valve and re-lace, and of course that needs done again if you want to have it hold air. Simple fix, reasonable cost. Just wasn’t important to me with it simply sitting on a shelf in my office.
