Description: This is a nice copy of "Psychology" by the founder of American Psychology, William James. This was published as part of the American Science Series Briefer Courses. The copyright is 1892, but this is a later printing, as evidenced by other listed publications from the early 1900's and an owners inscription from "Cambridge" of April 1918. This copy is bound in brown cloth, with boards remarkably clean compared with other copies. The binding is tight. Despite its use in coursework, perhaps even at Harvard given the owner's inscription, there are no other markings internally. The pages are clean but for a couple of leaves which have toned, perhaps because of a previously inserted piece of pulp paper. Overall a very nice copy of this classic text.
