Description: William Guérin & Co., Limoges (France)Gold Trim Cup & Saucer, c. 1910s-20s A very lovely gold-trimmed cup and saucer from Wm. Guerin & Co. (Limoges, France) in a very simple but elegant shape with wide gold bands, gold rim and handle, and pinpoint-thin black borders framing the gold bands on a white body. The cup measures 3.75 inches wide and 2 inches high. The saucer is 5.25 inches wide, with an upturned rim. Both pieces are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is some wear to the gold trim, most visible on the rim of the saucer (see closeup photos). The bottom of each piece has a green mark for "Limoges | W. G. & Co. | France" with a scroll border. I believe this mark is the white ware factory mark used circa 1900-1932. There is a second blue mark on the bottom of the saucer, for "Wm. Guerin & Co. | France | Limoges."
