Description: Offered here is a fairly rare book on whistling: "Whistling As An Art: A Method for the Development of Tone, Technic, and Style", by Agnes Woodward. This is a first edition hardcover, published in 1925 by Carl Fischer, Inc. Condition: Overall good condition. Cover boards are worn and look to have some slight stains or surface soiling. I have not tried to clean this book in any way. It is in as-found condition. Spine is straight. Binding is solid and the pages are firmly secured. Interior has some ball point pen markings from former owner on front pastedown end paper. Some pages have light pencil markings in the margins and above the musical notation. Paper is yellowed from age but not brittle. Thanks for looking!
