Description: I have here for sale a FIRST EDITION of WHISKY GALORE by COMPTON MACKENZIE. Published in 1947 by CHATTO WINDUS. It has its original dust jacket although this is in poor condition torn with loss, please see photos. Bound in red linen boards. Gilt title lettering on the spine. Foxing on the feps. The book is in good condition, pages are clean and bright, and tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 264pp, 20cm x 13cm. Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :) My main posting days are Monday and Thursday ie.
