It depicts two views of the great Ohio River Flood of 1884. The Beaver River also flooded. The bottom image shows Wheeling West Virginia. The water cresting at 53.4 ft., which made it the second highest on flood on record in Wheeling's history after the Flood of 1936, which crested at 55.2 ft. The top image shows a ruined bridge on the Beaver River (a tributory of the Ohio River). The bridge was not named, but it may be the Fallston - New Brighton Pennsylvania bridge, which was wiped out during the flood. The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 16 inches (28 x 40.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a caption below.The page is in excellent condition for its age.
