Description: A splendid Weller Louwelsa art pottery oil lamp. Base with painted leaves on a chocolate brown glazed background. Artist signed. These were Designed by J. W. Brooks Jr. Also this piece is signed Hall under glaze. Has a beautiful complete and working Bradley & Hubbard Oil lamp insert with a new wick. And has a beautiful honey suckle coin dot ball shade that matches beautifully with the base, there is one small chip on the inside of the upper opening as pictured. In excellent condition, with crazing and wear consistent with age and use, a few chips in the glaze as pictured but no repairs to the base. Please note the following item specifics: OVERALL SIZE IN INCHES :13 diameter x 12" high just the pottery. The mark would put this item ask made between 1885 to 1904 and decorated in this color palette.
