This auction is for a nice copy of the Eerie Publications magazine Weird volume 2 issue number 1, from December of 1966. Overall grade of Good to Very Good. I urge you to examine the photo-scans to form your own opinion. I hesitate to assign grades, but I know it is helpful to the buyer. My assignment of a grade to these comics might not agree with yours, but I have taken the time to detail what is wrong with them, so you will know what you are buying. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged and boarded, but you will most likely want to put a new bag and board on them, the one it is in now is for protection, not looks. GRADE/CONDITION: Front Cover: This book has about thirteen stress lines that exhibit minimal ink loss. There is ink-loss wear due to water damage in the top right corner. There is a one inch bend/crease in bottom right corner. There is some minor overall wear. Back Cover: There is minor overall wear and water damage. There is a two inch piece missing in the upper left corner located in a three inch water stain. This stain affects every page in the book. There is more staining on left edge. Interior Pages: Pages have water staining. Pages are cream to off-white. Pages are nice and pliable. Overstreet #54 sets a value for this magazine in 3.0 Good to Very Good at about $11.00, so considering the market on these Eerie books, along with the free shipping, as a filler/reader copy, I believe this one is...
