Description: This is a rare 1937 pencil production drawing sketch of Grumpy from the Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that was purchased from a NYC gallery in 1996. The drawing shows Grumpy peeking out from under a blanket on the bed above. It was created by Bill Tytla who is widely considered to be one of Disney's greatest animation artists. The drawing has been professionally double-matted and framed in a true museum quality metal frame with the best UV protective glass available in 1996. If I remember correctly the framing alone was around $200! It measures approximately 15" wide by 14" in height. It has always been stored in a temperature and humidity-controlled adult-only and smoke-free home environment since 1996. Gallery Lainzberg was the original certification gallery and certification documents are attached to the rear of this framed art. In my opinion, this piece is in excellent condition, however, look at the detailed photos provided in this listing to determine actual condition based on your expectations.
