This can be tuned out easily with just about any tuner.Cold Start Questions:Many people ask if this upgrade will affect cold starting. The long and short answer is yes, and no. If you live in a VERY cold climate it can affect starting. We have tested this all the way down to 32 degrees F and noticed NO difference in starting quality on a 2017 3500. If you live in a sub-zero climate you may experience rougher cold starts, this is a trade-off for higher flow. Some we have heard remove the plate in the wintertime to aid in starting.
