Description: This is such an interesting brooch, and a great size! It has a lot of style that resembles Native American pieces, but is made with turquoise slag glass and highlighted with blue enamel accenting. It has an older clasp--1930s?--and reminds us of pot metal. So, we think it was made to emulate American Indian jewelry, but not made by any tribes themselves. In good vintage condition--wear is consistent with age and use. The enamel has some loss, but it is relatively difficult to see because of the busyness of the piece.
