The turkey plate has a glaze crazing stain on front. Other than that, I believe these plates were only displayed, barely used. This vintage set of twelve dinner plates by Spode features a beautiful floral pattern with a Gamebird center. The plates are made of porcelain and ceramic, and have a glossy finish. They are stackable, dishwasher safe, and decorative, making them perfect for any dining occasion. The plates measure 10 1/2" in diameter, and have a printed backstamp. They were manufactured in England during the early 20th century (1911-1940) using a blue and white production technique. The set includes only dinner plates, and would make a great addition to any collection of art pottery.
