Description: Here we have an estate-fresh, 3-piece demitasse trio set in the gorgeous brightly-colored exotic bird and flora pattern, Chelsea Bird in teal blue with gold trim, from Royal Albert (England.) Numerous styles and sizes of cups, saucers and plates were produced in this pattern, so please be sure to check the shape of the cup, the shape of the handle, and the measurements of all three pieces to be sure you're getting the exact set you want -- we have other trios with different sizes available in our store, so if this set isn't the style you want, please check there. This 3-piece trio set includes one of each of the following: Footed Demitasse Cup (Scalloped Shape) approximately 3 1/8" w x 2.5" htDemitasse Saucer (approximately 4 7/8" diameter)Bread Plate (6.25" diameter) Vintage: this pattern was in production from the early 1940s to the early 1980s; we checked some of the registration marks on our pieces, not all of them, and they dated to the early 1940s Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. We often add graphics such as arrows, circles, and text boxes to our photos to point out things of interest that might be hard to see, such as a price tag or maker's mark, as well as to highlight many condition flaws. Appears as new, with one exception: the foot of the saucer has dark marks on it -- visible only when you turn the saucer completely upside down, which is unlikely to happen under normal use, lol. Otherwise, very clean and fresh, with no chips or cracks, and no stains, silver/gray utensil marks, any other type of marks, crazing, or scratches, not even the completely colorless kind.
