Description: Vintage / antique PETERS CARTRIDGE Co Wooden Box for .22 Cal semi-smokeless shells. Small Arms Crate wood crate has Finger Jointed corners. Some of the Stamped logos and legends are hard to read, but say: "Small Arms Ammunition PETER'S CARTRIDGES Manufactured by the Peter's Cartridge Company Cincinnati Ohio" on the long sides and "Peter's .22 Long Semi-smokeless 10,000 in case - 50 in box" Box has a wood divider down the center. Case is nice and solid - there is one board on the bottom with a crack, but it is solidly attached. Nice seldom seen crate that would make a great addition to any collection or as a decoration in a man-cave, hunting cabin, or garage.
