Description: Most all the plastic model car kit companies were making accessories in the passenger car model kits to make a stock car if so desired. Even back to the late 1950's. But MPC was the first company to make a series of their model kits designated for the NASCAR Winston Cup Series racing (now known Monster Energy Drink Cup). In 1971, their first four kits consisted of Richard Petty's #43 1971 Plymouth, Donnie Allison's #21 1971 Mercury Cyclone, Jim Hurtubie's #56 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle, and Buddy Baker's #11 1971 Dodge Charger. If you find one of these first four kits, you will see all four them on the side of the box. In 1972 MPC released their second set of four NASCAR model kits. These included Richard Brook's three-year-old #22 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, David Person's #33 1972 Pontiac GTO, Richard Petty's #43 1972 Dodge Charger, this model kit, "Coo Coo" Marlin's #14 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. With the four newest model kits now all eight model kits appear on the side of the box these newest four kits as this box shows. This box has one end faded from most like being stored in direct sunlight or next a window. But the corners are still intact, and the rest of the graphics are good. No split corners or tape repairs. No model, decal sheet, or instructions. Just the box. From a nonsmoker home so no surprise odors upon package arrival. Pics are taken close up as part of the description, therefore, NO RETURNS!!!
