Description: DESCRIPTION VINTAGE LNC SWEATERS OF IRELAND CHUNKY THICK CABLE FISHERMAN IVORY HAND FINISHED 100% NEW WOOL SIZE: LARGE Offered for your consideration, a Sweaters of Ireland cable stitch fisherman crewneck sweater, made of course in Ireland. In fabulous like new condition, springy, lovely to the touch, shows few, signs of wear. This sweater is labeled hand finished, made of 100% pure new wool, and has traditional stitches. It is a classic ivory color with warm undertones, and knit with basket, honeycomb, rope, and cable stitches on the front, back and sleeves. Each stitch has a meaning, this sweater represents, wealth and success, abundance, safety and good fortune. Known for cable fisherman sweaters this Irish creation is a standout beauty, soft wool, and a chunky knit. The overall silhouette indicates that the sweater in vintage 70s-80s, a little boxy, with a full cut raglan sleeves and slightly narrower at the hip. This sweater has a very nice feel, and is a middle weight wool that will keep you warm, but not over heated, and is comfortable to wear. Sweaters of Ireland is not one of Ireland's best-known companies, from the name maybe made for tourists, never the less it is fabulous. Enjoy.
