Description: Very good, pre-owned condition. Does have a small chip on the underside of the rim which was repaired and a craze line in the glaze inside. Pale yellowish tan color inside and a dark ombre rose color on the outside (the shade is similar to terracotta, but with a pink tone). Piece still displays beautifully. Marked E.A. Batchelder - Pasadena Made in USA on the bottom, along with the number 217. Was previously sold at auction at Rago Antiques in Lambertville, NJ (see sticker). Ernest A. Batchelder made pieces like these from 1936 until 1949. He was a big influence in the Arts & Crafts movement. Measures about 8.75" in diameter across the top, 3" tall and 3.25" in diameter across the bottom. Being sold in AS IS condition. See all pics for details.
