Description: VTG Dog Portrait Oil Canvas 1979 Mixed Breed Rescue Framed Signed N. Hall 17X21 Let me introduce you to Humphrey, affectionally called "Humper". He was my dog during the 1970's. I found him in a snowstorm in Hampton, NH. Back then, you called the police to report a found or loss dog. After calling and waiting with no one claiming him, we kept him and called him "Humphrey". He became part of the family and would explore the woods and fields for hours but would always come back to his new home. He was an older dog when we first got him, and he stayed with us for about 8 years. An artist friend decided to paint Humphrey as a gift to us. The artist was Nancy Hall from Massachusetts, and the portrait was painted sometime in the mid 1970's. The frame is from the same period. Humphrey was a medium size dog and obviously a mixed breed. He was a good dog as most pets are when you love them. After all these years, I still think of Humphrey, but it is time to give him a new home. Framed & ready to hang. 240620-2
