Description: Vintage Capodimonte(?) Italy Bruno Merli Signed Figurine Blessed Virgin Mary 14-1/4"H. There is a gold sticker on top of the wooden: Made in Italy. A gold metal tag is affixed to the front of the base: B. Merli. It is signed on the back: B. Merli and copyright 1982 Florence. The statue features the Blessed Virgin Mary with a flowing robe standing on top of a snake. She is painted in pastel colors. I am unsure if this is Capodimonte but a few others I saw listed were marked as such. Measures 14-1/4" high with the wooden base 6-1/4" x 6-1/4". Total weight unpackaged is 6 pounds 7 ounces. This does not come in the original box. There are no chips, cracks or breaks noted. She will be well packed for shipping.
