Description: Vintage 1930s Bakelite Place Card Holder w/Vase Set of 8 This highly unusual set of 8 bakelite place card holders are from the 1930s.Possibly earlier.They have no damage.Each place card holder has 3 holes in which to place the original tiny glass vases.These are so small, only a lily of the valley, forget-me-not, or other tiny flower would fit.The flat side is where the individual's name would be printed or attached.Or, they can be turned the other way so as not to show the name areas.Each measures 5/8" tall, 1-1/2" long, & 1-1/4" wide.They are translucent & 'apple juice' in color.The bitty vases are glass & measure 1-3/4" tall w/top ruffles approximately 5/8" in diameter.Super rare, nearly one-of-a-kind find.
