Description: This beautiful ice blue dress from the 60s or 70s is perfect for a groovy ice princess! Some great features include a daisy lace trim, sheer chiffon long sleeves and chiffon dress overlay, and a pointed empire waist. This dress would best fit a modern small, but please refer to the flat lay measurements below. Shoulders: 15.5in Pit to pit: 18in Waist: 14.25in Hips: app. 16in Length: app. 55.5in Based on inside construction, it is possible that this dress is handmade (but well made), and the dress includes a zipper from the era with metal teeth. The cuffs have no closures; they could easily be left as-is or could have buttons and buttonholes added if desired. This dress is in very wearable vintage condition! The issues I found were very minor. As is common with many vintage synthetic satins, the lining material has begun to change to a purple hue in parts, primarily along the bottom of the skirt (the most affected areas, but not all, are shown for reference). I don’t believe that this greatly affects appearance given the chiffon overlay, but please refer to the photos for reference. Apart from that, there is a pinhead tear under the lapped portion of the zipper where the chiffon got caught and there is a faint vintage/storage scent, but I don’t believe it to be offensive.
