Description: Vintage 12 inch world globe from Scan Globe A/S, Denmark, this being an illuminated globe with an adjustable internal spot light to display specific locations base on longitude and latitude. A guide book with coordinates is included. Map is from 1985. New LED 40 watt equivalent bulb installed - actual bulb power use is 4 watts, rated at over 20,000 hours of use. Bulb is warm color temperature (3000 kelvin) to match the original vintage bulb. Box for bulb as shown in photos is for reference and is included, it is an empty box. Great working condition, all plastic construction (except for internal spot mechanism which is is in metal), clean and presents well. Condition Notes:New bulb installed, spot adjustment working moving freely. Cosmetic condition is very clean with minimal signs of use. Note that the globe does have some play at the base, it does tilt forward somewhat, does not tip over or come loose.
