VTG 1925 RARE Red Hair Effanbee BABY EVELYN All Original MINT Beautiful Doll 18”

Description: Absolutely Stunning!! Pristine and MINT! Antique 1924-1925, only made for a very short time, this SUPER RARE Beauty is “Baby Evelyn” by Effanbee. She is the most pristine Baby Evelyn we have EVER seen, she looks brand new despite being almost 100 years old! No crazing, no rubs, no chips whatsoever. Beautiful high sheen to her composition, all original with no restorations at all. Original factory face paint is perfect like she just came from the factory. Open and close Rare green eyes with all her human hair lashes. Sweet face with open mouth and 2 upper baby teeth. Molded and painted hair is perfect and RARE red/strawberry color. Her body is oilcloth (also rare for this baby.) her crier inside is silent. Another “mommy” has added tape near her joints/arms it appears to protect and reinforce them during movement? (See photos). She is marked EFFANBEE “BABY EVELYN” on back of her neck. Baby Evelyn is 100% Original, wearing her exquisite Factory TAGGED coral Pink dress (Tag says: Effanbee Durable Dolls Made in USA) with matching bonnet that has a large ruffle framing her pretty face. The dress and bonnet are trimmed in original factory ribbons. (Dress is literally perfect except for a TINY and unnoticeable 1” split in fabric on back lower hem, it truly goes unnoticed it’s not even worth mending! Her bonnet has a couple teensy pin sized holes that also in no way detract, just a little patina to show age :) last 3 photos depict this….dress pins closed in back.Underneath her dress she has on her original factory slip, pink pantaloon bloomers, and flannel undershirt. Original factory rayon socks and original oilcloth shoes. Her adorable and super soft factory tagged EFFANBEE sweater is pink and ivory with matching bonnet hat (I believe these 2 items are somewhat newer than this sweet baby) I added them after she came to me but they match perfectly and fit her perfectly. She comes home to you with the sweetest vintage pink ducky plastic rattle (Knickerbocker). An absolutely stunning and super RARE Baby you will surely treasure! YOU will likely never see another this MINT. Price is firm.
