Description: From 1934 an almost lost gem with a running time of 59 min.. "Voice in the Night". This one stars Tim McCoy in one of his non-western roles. (Tim was a famous western star of the silents into the 40's through the 50's) Billie Seward and Ward Bond co-star. This was the third of about 5 films that Tim McCoy did in a non western role. These are very hard to find. These were all bought by Gail Pictures from Columbia in the 1950's and the only remaining logos are those of Gail Pictures. The quality on this title is below our standards but still is watchable.SYNOPSIS: Tim Dale is the son of the president of a big-city telephone company and quits his job following a dispute with his father over company policy. He takes up polo playing. Circumstances force him to give up his polo-playing and take on the job of helping a small-town telephone company overcome a plan by a gang to force the company out of business. He calls in his telephone-company pals Bob Hall and Jack to aid him against the crooks led by Matthews and Jackson, working for crooked lawyer Thomas Benton. This comes from a 16mm film transfer.
