Signed "Sager Chemical Axe 1948", it measures 7-11/16" long with a 4-13/16" wide edge, a 1-1/2" X 3-1/8" poll, or end, and a 13/16" X 2-5/16" eye. The edge is good, with some slight roughness, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The poll shows heavier use and wear, with some splaying, as pictured.
