The pen was made as one of a special limited unnumbered 12-pen release in 2015 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Vincent Van Gogh's death. It follows the original Van Gogh series of pens released circa 2011 which has been one of the best selling fountain pens in the market-place, due to its beauty, functionality, and excellent writing characteristics. This particular series is noted for the rose-gold plated trim, and variegated colour palette reflecting his famous painting of the same name. This results in a very beautiful colour/metal combination. Please note that there are variations from pen to pen, as no two of this particular variegated colouration are the same. Accordingly the pen shipped to you will have a slightly differing variegated pattern from that pictured.
