It does contain wear from years of use and also from being packed away for many years, within a climate controlled and smoke free storage room. Some of the gold color trim has worn off. It could also be used as a toothpick holder. It measures approx. 2.5" tall, 2.25" wide and 1.25" from front to back. On both sides are oval raised lines pattern for striking the match.
